Learn more about how to get acupuncture at Wasatch
(If you want to learn more about acupuncture in general, navigate over to our acupuncture page.)
Following is a brief guide on how to get the most out of your first appointment at Wasatch.
1 - Make an appointment through our convenient online booking program. You will receive a confirmation email that will contain a link to your new-patient paperwork (to be filled out online).
2 - Make sure to arrive at least five minutes early for your first appointment so we can properly screen and orient you to our clinic. If you didn't fill out your paperwork ahead of time, arrive 15 minutes early.
3 - We book patients every 10 - 20 minutes. You need to be in your chair and ready for your acupuncturist at the start of your appointment time. This helps us ensure we don't fall behind for other patients.
4 - After looking at your chart, the acupuncturist will ask you a few questions. There's not a lot of talking. We provide over 350 treatments a week, and we've got lots of experience getting “right to the point.”
5 - Feel free to bring ear plugs or headphones if you think they will help you relax. Also, bring any blankets or pillows you might need to make yourself comfortable. Some people find that their body temperature cools during acupuncture. A blanket can also be a big help in encouraging relaxation.
6 - Please call or email us with any questions you may have. We look forward to you becoming a part of our community!
